Visit from Poland to learn about climate change adaptation in Norway
Last week Vista Analyse received a group of around 30 visitors from Poland who wanted to learn about climate change adaptation in Norway. The group met with representatives from the Norwegian Water Resources and Energy Directorate, Oslo Municipality, Bærum Municipality, the Norwegian Directorate for Civil Protection, and Tønsberg Municipality. They also went on excursions to Ensjø, Fornebu and the centre of Tønsberg to see stormwater management solutions.
The trip was part of a larger project in which Vista Analyse is cooperating with the Polish research institution IOS-PIB (Institute of Environmental Protection - National Research Institute) to help build the skills and capacity of public administration employees in Poland in their work with climate change adaptation.
